GOOD DAY FOR ALL
12.2.02

Today was a very good day for all of my immediate family. Myself and my sister particularly.

Firstly I got the very first thing from my wish list

I completed my food handling safety course. Yes, so that now means that I have an accreditation...well that is right after I get my certificate. Which should be posted out about Friday, provided I passed the simple as 15 question multiple choice assessment [They can't call them Tests at TAFE any more] I am feeling pretty confident seeing that all 15 of the questions took me a total time of about a whole minute and a half to complete....seeing the teacher suggested that it my take some of us, straight from school, about 5 minutes and those who have been out of a learning environment about 20 minutes, but you could sit there all afternoon and sit it if you wanted...I was a little worried that I had totally missed something. But I checked back in the next minute, and found I hadn't missed anything, so I handed in my paper, and walked out. Followed immediately by the other, straight from school, participant, Clare. We both felt we breezed through the entire thing, so I guess we are now waiting fro certificates to arrive.

And secondly I am the proud new owner of a Xerox DocuPrint P8ex laser printer. Yeah, a student who can afford a laser printer, I am certainly a rarity. Actually, once I complete my MYOB course, I will be transferring it into owner supplied capital for my business. No longer to be mine, but to be the royal property of bluecrack web design. But I gotta learn how to use MYOB, [mind you own business, an accounting package for the business/computer illiterate] before I can actually record the transfer of capital correctly, so the tax department don't come running after me.

And thirdly, on my sisters count she got her first job today. After months of trying, dropping of countless resumes, proverbially knocking on doors looking for employment she received a phone call today back from one of our local supermarkets and they asked her to come in and pick up some forms tomorrow. Yes, those of you who noticed, or wondered, it is indeed the same supermarket, I happen to work for. Though I seriously doubt my working there actually could pull any clout for anyone looking for a job so I must credit all of that work to her. She deserves to have a job, and I am sure she will get much out of it. Oh yeah, and the money she will be getting, she seems to like that bit the most.

So I am now pretty much in a bloody good mood, and currently sitting here printing out the best quality pictures I have ever printed of any of the computer systems/ or printers I have ever owned. I have seen better, but it just so happens that I do not have a further $14,000 to spend on the printer that printed the best pages I have ever seem. But I can dream can't I? I will dream.
