Tonight I completed a responsible service of alcohol course run through the TAFE by the Liquor Licensing Commission. Learned a bit about alcohol, learnt what exactly is a standard drink...and by that I acknowledged that boy do I drink a lot when I do drink. And I binge drink. I learnt that. The rest, outside of some of the fines for serving minors etc, I already new, or were common sense.
Was an educational night, three hours and a 18 question assessment task [test] and I get a certificate that actually corresponds to knowledge and perhaps even basic skills. I now want to complete the bar course they are running soon. I think it might clash with uni classes, so I will have to wait for the next one to run, but it is meant to be pretty good. I so want to learn how to pull a beer.
Sleepy and gotta get up relatively early tomorrow to help with Uni O-Week initiation of first year students. [Public figure of Student Question Forum, they ask questions I answer them from a student perspective]
