The Russian presentation that is due to be presented tomorrow is almost all completed, with very little thanks to my 'partner in crime'. I have researched the content, reduced the content so it fits within the twenty minute timeslot we have to talk, and produced the PowerPoint slides that will be presented to the class. So I think I pretty much now Russia inside and out, well at least their current and most of their pat economic standing. The Financial crisis of 1998, the fall of the USSR and emergence of Russian Federation in 1991. Their WTO [world trade organisation] application desires. Reductions regarding tariffs on imports of any number of goods we here in Australia could end up selling off to them.

I think I have Russia overload.

Onto a equally perplexing topic, another weird SMS message turned up on my phone yesterday. Yesterday evening to be precise. From a number I do not know, was a message that stated the following:

Fiona, I Love You

Now if being told that wouldn't freak me out enough, it is that someone said it without my first at least getting their phone number. I am confused. I hope they will soon announce themselves to me, seeing they didn't sign off their message, I have no clue at all who it could have been. I sent a message back asking them to identify themselves, and the such, but as of yet, there has been no reply.

I am not too worried about the lack of response just yet, seeing that messages I sent at about noon yesterday arrived on peoples phones early this afternoon. Yes at least a whole 18 hours after I sent them. I hope I am not going to get taken for ride by whoever this is. Anyway I will be on the look out for them. I have my suspects....maybe just maybe I might actually like the person who sent it too me. And hopefully I do not end up looking like a fool at the end of all this. I will be sure to keep you posted on the situation.

An another sidenote for the first time in the last two and a half months I did not, yes I repeat DID NOT go out dancing last night. I was planning on doing some much needed study, but once again that did not happen. I got sucked into watching late night television shows. Damn they suck, but are soooo addictive.

I am trying to find a decent peer to peer file exchange program, any suggestions? I am currently using winMX, which seems to be working so well for me so far, but I have some serious doubts about its 'resume' capabilities. I think I should try something out. Find a song, stop the downland and try to resume it, to see if my concerns are warranted or not.

I have only just recently, about a fortnight ago started using IRC. Internet Relay Chat. Yet another one of the enormous real time chat programs available on the net to date. This one I love. Yesterday I met the most awesome woman. And it just so happens that she is studying in a similar field as me, and the part I find even scarier, is that she is studying at the same university as I am. Admittedly not eh same campus, but the same university as me.

DiscoBitch, or Clarity [the name she goes by as the creator of ambient trance music] is also studying Computer Science. I suggest you listen to some of her music, it is totally awesome.
