WATCH OUT

Melbourne watch out, here I come.
Accommodation has been arranged. Train tickets have been arranged. Both have been paid for. I am thinking I am pretty much set for the time down there. Five days, four nights of reeking havoc on a completely different town/city.
I am trying to find some decent clubs/pubs/places to go to while I am down there. I have sent SMS messages to all of those who would know, have access to folks who would know, or access to publications that would know about the clubs and pubs of the city.
I am waiting in anticipation of the itinerary for the days. Much of the nights have been planned already, but I am sure many of those plans will change on the day. But hell. Live it up at the moment.
I am feeling pretty damn carefree at the moment. And I know the exact reason for this. I got my haircut [also paid for] I always feel better about myself after having someone play around with my hair and massage my head, feels pretty damn good. I wish sometimes that I could just go in there for those benefits entirely and not because I actually needed a hair cut.
Anyway, I am now sporting something of a semi buzz cut. Buzzed around the back and sides above the ears and along the edge of the crown, with much of the top hair being only about an inch or so long. Thought long is not exactly a word I would associate with the ‘style’ I had done. Sure there was more hair on the floor after the cut than was left on my head, but that simply does not constitute a style cut. Plus she didn’t cut all that much, she attacked me with the electric razor thingy [yes the official terminology] and another pretty cool pair of scissors, that look more like the razor that they used to shaved guys beards with, way back when guys actually went to the barbers to get their beards upkept.
But I think I really should stop shouting from the rooftops, the neighbours are giving my funny looks, that my hair, or lack there of, feels bloody awesome.
Today, apart form getting the greatest haircut I have ever received [as far as my memory serves] I have also finalised my train ticket, (though I think I mentioned this earlier). Both ways to and from are both organised and paid for. But I am now waiting for the hotel to confirm my booking.
Waiting ever so patiently…..
Why do hotels put online booking systems if they do not respond to the requests in a timely manner. Ok, so maybe an hour or so is timely to them, but definitely not to me. Some of there systems I feel are a bit off whack, bit I will see what I can get out of them.
