HEADED HOME REGRETTABLY
15.07.02

Went gift shopping for Shell at Melbourne Central, Body Shop Lip Balm works well for the required bring home memorial gift. Lime for her, Strawberry for me. Yeah, this is the feminie ‘my lips are so chaffed it is not funny’ side of me coming out now.

Tried to catch up with Kylie, but she wasn’t up to the trek into the city, so promised to catch up with her on Friday when she is coming up to celebrate Vanessa’s 21st. Continued shopping, ended up in yet another Dangerfield shop, this time on Lonsdale Street. And also ‘Intro’ bought three more of the little badge/pins with more sayings on them making my total collection 7 with the following statements on them:

I’m Not Normal [purple badge, with this written in a smiley face, without features]
I Don’t even think straight [white badge with pride colours banded across the tope 3/4]
Pride flag [pride colours across the entire badge]
Kiss Me [yellow badge, with the i dotted with a Star, with Pink writing which apparently glows under UV blacklight]
I like Women [ yellow badge black writing]
Sit On My Face [yellow badge black writing] and
Eat Pussy [royal blue badge, with international restaurant food symbol in white, with a cat silhouette removed from the plate]

Pics of these badges will come soon.

Caught up with Jem, after she finished work, and went back to her place, and met Phil [her sister] and Matt [her brother in law]. Had a not so near death experience with her sisters’ cat. Hang around there for a while, Jem drove me back to the Sunshine Train station so I could catch it back into the city, and make my train back to Wodonga. I made it in plenty of time for the train, but just missed luggage check in so a nice little hike from luggage check in to platform two, underground then up to the platform and along to the end where the conductor holds his office. So I can get my one bag, which by this stage was getting rather heavy in itself and cutting off my circulation into the train, before I found my seat and settled in for the fifteen minute wait before departure.

Unlike the trip down to Melbourne where I was permanently forced to stay in such a compact state, I had plenty of room, and only three other people sharing the block of seats with me. 10 seats four people, rather comfortable I would say. Even more so after Avenel when one person got off. Now only 3 people to the ten seats. A happier child was present, and her rather cute mother. Whom I shared the rest of the trip home with.

Got home, and this is where stuff got nasty, I was happy, so to counter this my mother and sister decide that they would only talk about work, to level out some of my enthusiasm. OK maybe it wasn’t deliberate but really after coming home from a break do you really want to be faced with mundane work stuff? I think not.
